Bob Iger/Disney mgt. will **never** authorize another another feature film with Kennedy at the helm (of LF)… they don’t even want her to sneak back in under the guise of *Independent producer* (which they’ll for sure extend to her, but they want to make sure it’s for something *She* develops outside of LF, going forward, i.e. they don’t want to extend her the opportunity to spoil another potential built-box-office <demographic>/ip-building property, only to be squandered on idealistic-fancies & greatest-feme-mogul myth making/publicity …again).

    Simple put, she really keistered ‘em on *tAcolyte*, so much so, they supposedly went back audited her *Indy 5* reshoots/marketing campaign [budgets] and realized they paid for a lot of content they specifically vetoed (when initially pitched).

    I still don’t see the appeal of copying the plot from the sequel prequels just to make him the protagonist.

  11. anyone else remeber when when there was a save Daredevil billboard also in times square years ago and i guess it actually worked with the new daredevil season that came out earlier this year

  12. When Force awakens released Disney made a shitload of Kylo merch and not much for Rey or Finn. Fans hated that, they wondered where the Rey and Finn merch was because Finn ruled.

    Then we spent two more movies trying to make Kylo the main character and quasi love interest for Rey. Finn got sidelined. Fans hated that. Because Ben Solo sucks, he’s a whiny baby. And the only relationship a yone was interested in was the Finn/Poe bromance cos they rule.

    This movie is a pointless endeavor. Disney were right to fuck it off

  14. Wish people would understand it’s writers and directors that make a project. An IP isn’t good just because it’s that IP. They could do a Ben Solo movie directed by Trevorrow and it would suck like all his Jurassic Park movies.

  21. I don’t get why they won’t do more with the sequel trilogy. Like we have so much stuff from characters from OG and prequels and then legit nothing from the sequel people. Makes no sense to me

  22. Star Wars needs more original stories, not sequels.

    Andor was outstanding and came from the gaps in the movies. The mandalorian was great. Even Ashoka is good and I’m optimistic about the second season.

    There is so much that could be explored I don’t want about a movie with another Solo or Skywalker. Show us the old republic or something that doesn’t involve a Jedi with near mythical powers.

    Force Awakens was solid but the sequals completely blew an amazing opportunity to make Boyega the last Jedi and tanked the following two films with a GARBAGE story line.

    Mark Hamil’s revival of Luke Skywalker was the only saving grace but not even he could save the disaster that had already occured.

    So they can keep Ben Solo on ice. He’s an SNL skit at best.
