If local election results are replicated in a GE, which they seldom if ever are.
>The Conservatives face losing their Commons majority if local election results are replicated at a general election, according to a Sky News projection.
>
>Analysis suggests that it would mean a hung parliament with Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Tories remaining the largest party at Westminster but falling 48 seats short of an overall majority.
>
>The projection is based on local election results from 1,700 wards and an analysis of change in vote share since 2018 across 87 local authorities.
>
>It predicts that the Conservatives would have 278 seats, just seven more than Labour on 271.
They will be shitting themselves now about any new of a Lib-Lab pact.
So hes back at where he started and he was losing EVERY vote in Parliament.
They could yes.
They could also secure another majority.
Dont let your mental health be reliant on this. Local election results rarely reflect general election results.
Fuck it, im going to say it, with what the situation is looking now and I mean resluts at 5pm and the number of councilors elected ( Source BBC news): LAB 1976 (+41), CON 984 (-304), LD 665 (+175), IND 132 (+18), GRN 108 (+60), RA 51 (+10) the biggest winners are Lib-dems and if that means future coalition with Labour, so be it. What I’m trying to sayis, we want back to the EU.

Will also have to rethink those [thoughts on an early GE](https://www.businessinsider.com/boris-johnson-mulls-2022-election-amid-fears-economy-will-worsen-2022-5?r=US&IR=T).
