Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže commented on Russia’s night attack on Kyiv, noting that while Kirill Dmitriev, Vladimir Putin’s special envoy for investments and economic cooperation, is on a visit to the United States, Putin himself continues to kill children.

She also stressed that Ukraine needs weapons and support, while Russia needs isolation and collapse.
Additionally, the diplomat drew attention to the need to strengthen international solidarity and joint efforts for peace.
According to local authorities, the number of those injured in Kyiv from the night attack has risen to 32, seven of them are children, three people have died. The Kremlin’s special envoy for investments and economic cooperation in Washington stated that the United States, Ukraine, and Russia are approaching a diplomatic settlement that could bring an end to the war.
