Can’t even turn up to their own cross burnings. Bit of rain makes the flag shaggers snowflake out.

  1. These colours don’t run! However, seems the helmets who’ve co-opted the flag do!

  2. The DJ there giving it “Yeeees Southampton cmon lets make some fucking noise, oh wait errr”. Obviously there was no free Russian money to give away.

  3. Why you so scared of your own flag? It won’t hurt you

  4. Most bullies these days are only brave behind a keyboard.

  5. People turned up later, not sure how many as I’m not dipping my wick into the cesspool that is Facebook, but for posterity it does look like at least a hundred turned up.

Obligatory down vote for stating the facts and providing sources lmao. The one thing I love about this shit is that both sides are equally cooked. But OP is a liar.

Edit: Thanks for everyone who up voted and chose truth over bullshit. Doesn’t matter what your beliefs are, flagrantly lying about shit doesn’t help your cause or anyone else’s.

  6. if you only love your country when it doesn’t rain, are you even British?

  7. A great example this thing is pure astro turf. I reckon the protestors that turned up for Tommy/Yaxley Lennon didn’t realise how racist th protest was going to be and the fact that he works for Israel.

  8. Good, we’re British, racism doesn’t belong here, along with homophobia and misogyny. 🇬🇧 My flag, their flag.

  9. They turned up alright, I just watched it on YouTube, you just weren’t filming the right place. 😔

  10. This was before it started tho. If you want to criticise them you don’t have to lie.

  11. I mean people literally did show up. Did you really try and lie on the internet and think people weren’t gonna find the truth? I get you’re desperate to push an agenda, just like those people are, but lying is not the way and you lose all credibility.

  12. The Echo said they turned up. Even interviewed a protester who came down from London to attend the protest.

If people were travelling here from other areas then it probably explains why this protest was larger than the 10-20 people that have attended previous Southampton protests

  13. An exceptionally divisive headline. By an account that’s 2 months old. Clearly a bot trying to stir division. Ignore

  14. too busy staying home and diddling their little ones and beating their wives

  15. As much as I would like this to be true, I live near where the march was and this was the set up before they arrived.

However, there weren’t that many of them, a few hundred at best.

My wife drove past them and one called my 10 year old in the car a ‘bitch’ (unprovoked)

  16. Maybe it’s because some of the flags are upside down. They are, as we know, flag connoisseurs.

  17. This is like when someone filmed a Reform event before it started and said nobody turned up. This isn’t helpful.

  18. I get you’re a leftist but you don’t have to lie this much 🤣🤣

You recorded an near empty field before an event had begun….

  19. The van/stall looks like one of those performance butchers you get at big car boot sales.

  20. It saddens me seeing our flags now automatically associated with racism.

  21. Same energy as the ‘raise the flag’ lot round my bit. The flags that were cable tied halfway up the lampposts have now slipped down to two metres above the duel carriageway and are hanging drably, manky as hell due to the passing traffic.

Apparently the patriotic fervour which led people full of Stella to go out with a ladder on a sunny August afternoon has shrivelled up and died at the prospect of doing the same to maintain them in a rainy October.

  22. I always love pointing out that the St George’s flag is named after a Turkish bloke

  23. What an age we live in where a legal protest is seen as Cross burning, also quite devious to film before the event even started, if the comments are to be believed.

  24. They’re playing music made by black female “foreigners.”

  25. No idea what this is about, but I can’t even be arsed to get something from my car in the rain.

  26. Ironic you call them flag shaggers, when I guarantee you have 4 flags on your Twitter

  27. This is lost on the gammons because they are too stupid to understand the concept

  28. Dont you just love to see people arguing over politics, have a brew and enjoy life!

  29. But did they turn up in black balaclavas waving other countries flags?

  30. Hear me out; I went for a run from my gym at Oxford street to home and stumbled myself one of those rallies at the Marble Arch. It was loud but small. And the tourists were a little afraid of them.

I had noticed the kind of people’ class is very specific; I wondered if they have a job at all… and there were a few people holding up wooden crosses which is laughable…

That day I realised the government has been failing the lower class and that they have been feeling ignored which is most likely the main motivation behind this.

Is this the same everywhere else?

  31. Imagine having so little problems in your life that you get upset with people flying the flag and likening it to cross burning.
