Belgium has an extradition treaty so China can silence their political dissidents and apparantly hand over [dangerous Uyghur families](https://prnt.sc/1zjjtsw) to the Chinese police to be put into concentration camps.

The embassy obviously violated the treaty ” In addition, the treaty signed by Belgium contains, in article three, the normal guarantees of refusal of extradition. For example, if the person is at risk of **capital punishment, torture or prosecution for political reasons**.”

  1. Yes the whole world is keeping quiet about China running concentration camps publicly. That’s already known, it’s like how nobody pointed out China rules WHO who claimed for months Covid was harmless and under control, or how China hid the fact there was covid to begin with for a long time.

    Just because Belgium extradited some people, doesn’t make us the big criminals. It’s China who’s doing the inhuman crap.

    The time has come where the world must act as a whole against China.

  3. It’s good that someone remembers what happened and we don’t get diverted by daily news, shifting our attention away.

    That being said, does anyone know what happened afterwards? Did the family get reunited? Are they still apprehended by the Chinese state?

  5. (Central) Europe is getting fucked in every direction. We got african immigrants left and right looking for the promised land. We get middle eastern immigrants, ditto, some of those are extremists causing havoc.

    We are dependent on China’s product and cheap labor.

    We have to set te bar for climat crisis.

    There’s still covid that’s kicking our ass.

    We have to keep the states as an ally because they are the police of the world, or atleast try to be ( thank you for saving our asses from the germans. Twice. ) said germans are now our best ally and the beating heart of europe.

    Did I mention the choke hold the russians have on our gas supply ?

    South America is smuggling drugs trough our borders like easy peasy lemon squeezy.

    Those damn islanders fucked themselves and us with the brexit.

    Turkey has us by our balls with said immigrants.

    Scandinavia doesn’t rate us or needs us at all.

    India is on the rise with population and pollution.

    Come to think of it, Only Canada and Australia/ NZ are true allies…

    Being totally pessimistic right now, change my mind?

    Edit : even your own foreignpolicies link cites him. This kinda has to stop. When all sources are actually one guy, we should be suspicious, not blindly believe him.

    Edit 2 : My bad, I’m pretty sure I’ve read somewhere he couldn’t speak Chinese. Apparently, he does. Point still stands, he’s but one source, and is clearly anti-China from the get go.
