That’s their approach to most of their bakery range – it annoys me
Bargain
How does this kinda thing make it as far as print without someone going “this is stupid”?
I remember during the first lock-down they had this with the bread rolls,
but they were all prepacked into 3 to avoid people making skin contact with the rolls
so you couldn’t actually buy a single roll and had to buy 3
also the thing with both Aldi and Lidl is that across the continent they are usually found in low socio-economic areas and aren’t the supermarket choice of the middle class,
Unlike Ireland.
3 for 3.09
Wait, where is selling them individually again?!
Lidl, right?
You just can’t beat that “Danish discount”.
For a while Asda in the UK were selling two litre bottles of Pepsi for £1 or 2 for £2.50 (I shit you not) !
Stick two in a bag get to self serve and select one, thanks
Not just the calculations but the fact that they refer to pastel de nata (Portuguese) and pain aux raisins (French) as Danish pastry.
Well, they are not lying
I wonder how much 3 will cost..
This store is mad for this, I was laughing the first time I saw Maple Pecan Plaits, €1.00 or 3 for €3.00 😂
I remember a while back when McDonalds were selling one Apple Pie for €1.10 and two for €1. if you ordered one, they would just give you two and save you the 10c automatically, but then you had two apple pies
I love Danishes, but those little custard covered things on the left are the fucking business.
r/thatshowthingswork
this has been going on for months in Lidi now(if not longer).. was going to post similiar picture in february when Lidi in sligo town reopened but I cba really..
