Unbelievable. Some two years ago, at the beginning of the Corona-crisis, then-TRNC tourist minister Ünal Üstel was dismissed by then-TRNC prime minister Ersin Tatar in the so-called jet scandal because he invited a group of potential investors from Turkey to break the rules and come to North Cyprus with a private jet even though arrivals were not permitted at that time; and what’s more, they mingled with the population and went shopping before even their PCR test came out. Now, the same guy, Ersin Tatar, now president, gives the task to form the government to the same guy, Ünal Üstel….
