Increased scrutiny, criticism and analysis are most needed in these days of global upheaval

Our Government is flawed, but I do not believe we should all abandon it to live in the forest, as tempting as that sounds.
In the same vein, the EU is flawed, but I am not Nigel Farage. This is a fact that I am personally delighted by, especially as our European presidency looms next year.
