1. this is the correct move, you can’t trust that thing isn’t bugged to all hell. Dynamite it immediately

2. I’ll take “get us out of the (soon to be) economic depression” personally 

3. That or convert it to a large PUBLIC museum about the United States, if it is still around.

6. That stupid ballroom is staying. If we even have another election, if a democrat candidate wins, if democrats win the house and the senate, there will be so much damage to fix in a short amount of time. I would like to hear investigations into DOGE, re-hring fired government workers, re-funding Medicaid, fixing social security so Republicans can’t threaten it in the future. Renewing grants for college research and the list just goes on and on.

7. Make it the new local LGBTQ+ community center.

   And forcibly take over mar-o-lago, truth social for holding government owned materials

   and the entire Trump financial portfolios for using the office of the presidency to produce hundreds of billions in prophets

   Because everything a president does belongs to the people

14. Don’t just stop at the ballroom. Dems — and everyone else not MAGA — in this country, must absolutely resolve to destroy Trump, period.

    If he’s still alive, put him behind bars. If he’s not, bury him. Liquidate his company and assets — and sic the hounds of fucking (legal) hell on every billionaire and criminal bastard that put him in the White House and enabled him to do and be his absolute worst once he got in. Get his cabinet too.

    He may have started this godawful story, but we still get to write its ending.

17. I heard the pod save America guys talking about this as a part of the dem platform to run on. I think it’s a good idea, seems like a ridiculous extravagance while America is in economic turmoil.

    This blind optimism coupled with the resulting inaction is why we aren’t going to reach that magical “after.”

20. I want the Democratic candidates to forgo their personal political agenda and commit their entire 4 year term to making sure a fascist authoritarian like Trump can never get elected again. Bidens failure in this regard only reinforces how important it is.

21. We cannot allow authoritarianism to entrench itself within our cultural heritage (any further than it perhaps has). Monuments to it like the confederate statues (literally commemorating enemies of the USA, and before you say anything, how would you feel if they were Al Qaeda members statues?) or this monument to Trump’s own greed and hubris must come down as part of the road to national healing.

25. It’s a privately funded party house by and for billionaires and billion dollar companies sitting on public land. It is an affront to this nation. It’s a giant middle finger to the country. It’s proof of how corrupt our government is and just how easy it is to buy the United States.

    If the next president doesn’t demolish it we will have learned nothing and we will be doomed to repeat this mistake.

26. Bulldoze it, fix the rose garden, add 3 judges on the Supreme Court, and go scotch earth in every ICE and government official that encouraged it. Do not let any of them sleep a minute.
