“Retaliation” implies that Finland acted outside her bounds, any aggression by Russia against Finland would better be described as “instigation”.
Russia has shown itself to be a gangster state, untrustworthy and capriciously violent. Of course, her neighbours know they need all the protection they can muster. If Russia didn’t want to be caged, she shouldn’t have behaved like a wild bear.

They made their bed, now they gotta lie in it, they should have considered this as a potential outcome from doing what they’ve done, but its just another example of incompetence, literally having the opposite outcome they wanted.

In my mind, NATO will definetly intervene in case Finland gets attacked. Ukraine is another story.
Then do something already and let’s get this over with. These daily threats are starting to irritate me.
