Civil engineering consultant A. When dozens of complex data spreadsheets and design drawing CAD files were uploaded to the Gibbons AI platform, professional technical reports and data visualization data were automatically generated within minutes. Through this, Mr. A was able to reduce the time spent writing reports, which accounted for 60% of the engineer’s work.

Artificial intelligence (AI) startup Gibbons operates AI solutions that automate repetitive and complex documentation and data analysis tasks in various specialized industries with many data-driven document tasks, such as engineering consulting.

Ho Ji-yoon, CEO of Gibbons, is also a serial entrepreneur with experience in establishing and succeeding companies in education, healthcare and AI. “Many people want to use data, but the process of high-quality visualization is still difficult, and it is difficult to make data unless you are a professional designer or data scientist,” he said. “We started the business to provide a way for anyone to easily create professional visual materials.”

Gibbons entered the market with simplicity and high accuracy. In particular, the advantage is that “end-to-end automation” is possible from data collection, analysis, visualization, and report generation at once. CEO Huh explained, “OpenAI has limitations in processing complex visual elements, so it is impossible to generate more than 10 pages of reports, but Gibbons makes more than 80 pages of PDF reports into accurate page structure, visual data, and consistent layout.”

AI draws charts or graphs on its own by simply entering the description into Gibbons’ own “Visual Language Model (VLM).” Users can easily create high-quality visual materials without having separate design or coding knowledge. Gibbons is discussing entering the U.S. by introducing beta versions of multilingual versions, including Korean. It also plans to expand its customer base in the creator and consultant markets. It aims to achieve annual sales of more than $100 million by 2026.
