Gaza tries to rebuild amid fragile ceasefire • FRANCE 24 English
classrooms were turned into makeshift homes. But after 2 years of war, these children are studying again. And UNRA says it plans to bring 300,000 children back to school in the Gaza Strip. All children have the right to education. And that’s especially important now. Hopefully, if everyone rolls up their sleeves, we can return to pre-war levels. At the KM Shalom crossing, another glimmer of hope as aid trucks are loaded and finally delivered into the enclave. But the road to recovery has a long, long way to go. Winter is approaching and tens of thousands of people are still displaced. Dirty sewage is overflowing into the camps and many feel things have gotten worse. The situation is extremely difficult. There’s no fresh food nor clean drinking water. Water is non-existent. Then there’s the question of whether the ceasefire will hold. On Tuesday, the ruler of Qatar, a key mediator in truce negotiations, took aim at Israel after its deadly strikes on the weekend. We reaffirm our condemnation of all Israeli violations in Palestine, particularly transforming Gaza into an area unfit for human life in the continued breaches of the ceasefire. In a bid to resolve some of the issues, US Vice President JD Vance arrived in Tel Aviv on Tuesday where he joined US Envoy Steve Witoff and Jared Kushner ahead of a meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister on Wednesday. While a Hamas delegation remains in Cairo for talks with Egypt, the mediators have a tough task ahead if they are to establish an international stabilization force and determine who exactly will govern Gaza while appeasing all parties.
With the fragile ceasefire still holding, Gazans try to rebuild after two years of continuous bombing. At the same time, concern grows regarding the fragile US-brokered peace deal, following a flare f tension between Israel and Hamas. Said concerns have prompted a visit from US Vice President JD Vance.

Just dont dig tunnels again
It won’t be rebuilt until Hamas is gone.
Hard to rebuild when the land has been destroyed by munitions the level of 14 atomic weapons ……
Rwbuilding starts after UAE sends troops to help with disarming, disbanding and deporting Hamas leaders, militants and employees from Gaza.
Thanks Allah
Gaza to be renamed "New Israel" per Trump
The tunnels need to be rebuilt first?
"Many feel things have gotten worse." Understatement of the year in a good report.
