  1. “We cross now to our time-travel correspondent, reporting live from the Norman Conquest…”

  2. “It looks like… yes, I can confirm William has now taken the cul-de-sac by Grange Road after some fierce cavalry charges against Mr. Cameron, who was armed just with a hedge trimmer.”

  3. The North is always a bit behind the times though, so I’m not too surprised

  4. Ely is having it’s 954th Hereward’s last stand anniversary today. Some street theatre with a live Hereward outside the Cathedral at 1pm, if anyone is passing? We don’t forgive, or forget the Normans in the Fens 😂

  5. Funny how I’m seeing this after reading once and future, a series about king Arthur returning as an evil zombie. Written by Keiran Gillen and art by Dan mora. Very good series

  6. Let’s call him by his other, sadly just as accurate, sobriquet, William the Bastard.

  7. No, you misunderstand. The clocks went back 1 hour and William came forward 959 years. That’s why it’s a modern house being destroyed.
