Netflix is bringing its original reality dating show “Love Is Blind” to Italy, with the program available exclusively on the streamer Dec. 1, hosted by Benedetta Parodi and Fabio Caressa.

Netflix launched the “Love Is Blind” franchise in the United States on Valentine’s Day 2020, featuring a group of singles looking to find their soulmate without ever seeing them. After meeting and getting engaged, the couples explore their relationships in everyday life: work, friends and family — with the goal of walking down aisle together married. 

The original series social experiment has been so successful (generating upwards of 13 millions per season) that it has been adapted in many countries, including Japan, Brazil, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Argentina and France.

The series will be divided into three parts for a total of 10 episodes, launching Dec. 1, with the first four episodes where participants begin to get to know each other inside the pods, leading up to the marriage proposals.

On Dec. 8, episodes five through eight will be released, following the couples as they experience daily life together up to the altar. Dec. 15 features episode nine will be released, followed by the reunion episode on Dec. 19. 

The Italian adaptation, directed by Angelo Poli, is written by Magda Geronimo, Valentina Massouda and Antonio Vicaretti.
