Local Elections 2022: Labour ‘almost certain’ to win Wandsworth, elections analyst says – as PM braced for Tory losses in London

  1. Now the Tories should issue a motion of no confidence against Boris and call a new leadership election. If he can’t even hold onto Thatcher’s favorite council, that’s a sign of a weak leader.

  2. Labour made some gains last night, but the clear winners were the Lib Dems, followed by the Greens.

More and more evidence emerges that the 2 party system isn’t desired.

The UK needs to implement PR and give voters the ability to vote for the candidates they want. Not just against the ones they don’t want.

Based on current polling, Labour can’t oust enough Conservatives in a general election to get a sizeable majority without Lib Dems making gains.

Without cooperation, we will end up with another lost decade of the clowns in charge.
