French President Emmanuel Macron has failed to mediate talks to end Russia’s military invasion.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with Italian TV channel Rai 1, published in the Telegram-channel of the head of state, writes “European Truth”
“We should not look for a way out for Russia, and Mr. Macron does it in vain. He has a wonderful experience that until Russia wants it, it will not look for anything. He wanted to get some results through mediation, he did not find them, and he did not from our side, and from Russia, “Zelensky said.
The president also said that Macron had offered to make certain concessions to Ukraine’s sovereignty in order to save Putin’s face.
Macron tried to mimic zelensky look but he lacked one important part, the giant titanium bollocks hanging between his legs.
Appeasement doesn’t work with tyrants or dictators, they just see it as a extra step towards their overall goal not a stopping point.
So, Macron is back to sacrificing Ukraine and its people to save Europe a lot of trouble. How bold.
Imagine offering away the sovereignty of another country without the approval of the country in question. Absolute madness. It is pretty clear that French leadership is more interested in protecting its Russian investments (Total, Renault, etc) by returning to the status quo than actually helping out Ukraine.
I offer concessions on France’s sovereignty; Normandy returns back to ownership of the United Kingdom.

I think test for the bad cop is quite clear – who can get West to stay on sanctions, get all those estates, play no favorites, take it all that is Russian in the Western world. Make them persona non gratta everywhere they go. Put pressure on all the small states that quitely collaborate, put pressure on a scale like USA got after World Trade Center attack. Guantanamo style.
That is how we find the suitable bad cop.

Who needs russian propaganda when western medias paint everything Macron (and Scholz too) says negatively for no reason. But keep thinking Macron wants to let Putin have half of Ukraine or whatever bs you think he said I guess.
I think it’s a little simplistic to say Macron is “sacrificing Ukraine”. (Disclaimer: I don’t like the guy at all, I am just trying to get the bigger picture).
The major concern right now is that Putin has no way *out* of this conflict unless bringing some symbolic “trophy” back. Total withdrawal from Donbas while keeping Crimea (now relatively useless as it is filled with Russians and has no more relevant ships sailing) could be an acceptable exit strategy on the Russian side.
Macron here is simply conveying what his NATO partners are saying: Realistic possible scenarios at the moment are either escalation, rooted conflict or a tradeoff.

What authority would Macron even have to negotiate anything, concessions or otherwise? Like, “Hey Zelensky, i spoke to Putin, he’s agreed to end the war if you give him everything he asked for” “no”. And then? Why can’t these assholes actually realise that Ukraine is a sovereign country and that only Zelenksy has the authority and mandate to negotiate anything with Putin. Everyone else needs to shut the fuck up and help him win.

This is a bit of a misleading title. Basically, judging by an interview itself, it wasn’t so much a knock again Macron, but more of making a point that trying to reason with Russia is ultimately futile. The only thing they want – for us to lose our sovereignty.
