Republicans feel no shame or guilt in what they do. They put it on Democrats to be the responsible ones that look out for the interests of the people. They put the guilt on the Democrats for not doing the bad things the Republicans want to do such as gutting every agency and cutting benefits that our tax dollars pay for.

Not necessarily. I’ve come to really hate Republicans. The difference is that I want the best for everyone while each individual republican wants the best for their own self at the expense of everyone else.
My personal opinion is that republican are just rich people that are very arrogant and think that they can screw over everyone and never pay the consequence, democrats are rich people who studied history and know that the guillottine is close to their neck, so they still screw people over but they don’t do it so blatantly hoping to be on the spectator side of the guillottine when everything will fall apart.

Democrats can’t win elections if they can’t get voters to show up. Republicans getting this charity; will they change their vote to Blue? Or is this sweet sentiment just a huge waste of effort that leads to Dems losing again.

That’s because (most) people who call themselves democrats, have some kind of axiomatic core beliefs that the government should make a better quality of life for all people, over all.
Republicans, tend to be more hierarchical, selfish, and antagonistic towards those who they see as “the others” as well as deifying their leaders and authority personalities.
Republicans see victory as the suffering of those who do not worship their “gods”. Simple as that.
