Believe me, they’re going to take that suspect. He’s still moving. That is a plus. They are definitely going to take him into custody. It did look like the motorcycle did land on top of him once he was on the ground. Now, I have to say, um, you got a number of officers down there. I can guarantee you. I can guarantee you. Apologize for that.

A motorcyclist who allegedly shot a sheriff’s deputy in Rancho Cucamonga was taken into custody after colliding with a car on the 210 Freeway in San Bernardino County.

A pursuit was initiated of the suspect just before 1:30 p.m. not far from the area where the suspect was allegedly barricaded inside a home.

The collision occurred on the eastbound side of the freeway near exit 56 in Ontario.

The extent of the deputy’s injuries or the suspect’s injuries are unknown.

However, the suspect was seen sitting up in a neck brace before he was loaded onto a gurney and airlifted to the hospital.

  23. Why wouldn't the off-duty cop who intentionally crashed into the motorcyclist be charged with attempted murder with a deadly weapon? Regardless of the circumstances, anyone else would be. 🤷

  26. Crazy how they do so much more to catch someone when the person there chasing killed a cop versus someone who just killed a regular citizen

  28. They knew his identity and could’ve chosen a safer way to arrest him but they chose to endanger the public.

    Ban police pursuits except in the most dire of circumstances.
