What are the benefits of building them in one piece rather than in shorter sections and assembling on site? I assume there is a very good reason for it because they go to so much trouble to transport them but I dont know what it is.

When they used to be smaller I remember Nordex buying all the household hot irons they could get their hands on to harden the epoxy. Wonder how they do it at that size.
Jeez, how do you transport such things? Does it go around bends?
