I moved AWAY from NYC nearly two decades ago, because it was too damn expensive. I was born there. If Mamdani can do even 30% of what he’s claiming to do, I’d be inclined to move back to the city.

I really doubt people are actually going to uproot their entire lives and careers, leave friends and family behind, and spend thousands of dollars to move to another state, just because they’re don’t like the new mayor.
The average person would need to experience quite a bit of pain over a long time period before they would consider something so dramatic.
I suspect Facebook is the same. Every election cycle, it was people wanting to move to Canada and me pointing out that they were too old and unemployable to be granted citizenship there (or anywhere else)
It’s time to take back our country from the Belarepublicans.
As someone who lives in NYC along with all 200 members of my family, I do not support Mamdani as I believe he will ruin one of Mother America’s great warm weather ports. I am very American. You can tell because I eat Mcdonalds cowboy burgers every day.
