  5. I seems doubtful that they fled the UK to actually distance themselves – from all accounts they have been present and supportive in their parents’ lives. Like Beatrice could have already planned to attend this conference well ahead of time, and she certainly is no stranger to business trips to the Middle East.

It was also stated that the deeds have a clause that the property could not be sold without signatures from Eugenie and Beatrice. It was purchased as a “ long term investment property “. But sold at a staggering loss. All adds to the confusion and mystery.

  16. As much as I’m loathe to play devil’s advocate for literal princesses, there’s some of the rhetoric around their involvement here which is bananas.

    These women were 19 & 20 when the supposed visit to Epstein took place. They were brought up in a dysfunctional wider family, with a self-centred bully for a father and an obnoxious mother who was famous for her total lack of self-awareness. They weren’t exactly spoilt for choice for great role models, and they’re not responsible for their dad being mates/associates/members of a sex trafficking ring with Epstein.

    Andrew’s crimes are his own, and I’m not sure what the value is in bringing up his daughters who were barely adults themselves when this all happened.

  17. This week a years long mystery was solved for me. I’ve always wondered why Andrew’s kids are so known/focus on and the Queen’s other grandkids aren’t (Edward and Anne’s kids). It’s because their parents chose not to give them titles, and apparently Andrew and Sarah obsessed over it.
