Ukrainian (Hungarian?) Roma camping outside Brno Hlavní Nádraží. Pic from last night

  1. This is not just a problem in Brno but in other major cities as well. Basically those romas (? is that correct term?) have a dual citizenship of Ukraine and of Hungary (or, at least most of them reports claim although, apparently, some were trying to get rid of those) and by the international law Hungary was supposed to take care of them. However, Hungary gives no shit about them (election fraud by Orban but w/e) and they just don’t allow them to stay in their own country. So we end up having them, or other countries.

    Which leads to another problem. They are not allowed to get support from our government and also cannot get any *money* allocated for war refuges. But, and there’s the catch, according to international law we cannot send them back to Ukraine due to outgoing war despite the fact they are most likely from the **least affected regions** (*not even ruSSians would go there, nothing to loot, nothing to steal*) and if we send them back to Hungary, they just return them despite being required to take care of them – hopefully the EU will deal with Orban’s policies regarding this issue. He literally bought voters by giving out free Hungary passports to this minority.

    So they are back in our country, which wouldn’t be a problem but many of them, as reports claim, are nothing but economic migrants and they could be easily abusing the system. As in, taking refuge status in other countries and sucking them dry (Brno – easy connection to Poland, Austria and Slovakia for example). That’s also why they tend to stay in major transport connection hubs. We would need an international registration system in place to prevent this abuse.

    Now, cities are trying to figure out how to settle them down and there’s another **BIG PROBLEM.** They tend to have families of many members (some go over 10) and it’s extremely hard to find a home or facility that could possibly take in a family of 13 people while you cannot separate them. On the other hand it’s super easy to find home for a family of 2 or 3. Also, if you found a way to leech of the state(s) you don’t really wanna move anywhere else than major transport hubs.

    Well, if that wasn’t a problem there’s another one. We have to make sure they have a roof above their heads, food, warm water and functional facilities on top of providing them with any means to spend their free time (job would be nice but that’s a dream, they won’t work unlike legitimate refugee because they can simply suck of the system). If one of the points above is not fulfilled it will directly lead to higher unrest and unnecessary rise of criminal activity

  2. Rasismus je špatný, protože:

    * ztěžuje život těm příslušníkům dané rasy, kteří se snaží (ať už mají dobrou, či špatnou výchozí pozici) a demotivuje je
    * neumožňuje přesné cílení na problémové občany (ne všichni problémoví jsou romové, ne všichni romové jsou problémoví)
    * ve skutečnosti se z něj stal způsob, jak některé věci neříct natvrdo a některé věci neřešit.

    Správně je cílení na základě férového posouzení každého jednotlivce. Například podle:

    * trestního rejstříku
    * pracovní historie a výše příjmů
    * dosaženého vzdělání a gramotnosti
    * občanství, vlastnictví dokladů
    * znalosti jazyků
    * kulturního kapitálu

    Špatný přístup:

    * romové půjdou do zvláštní třídy
    * romové půjdou do oddělených táborů

    Správný přístup:

    * Děti rodičů, kteří nemají oba alespoň výuční list, či z nichž alespoň jeden nemá VŠ budou mít povinně 2 roky předškolní výuky a doučování po skončení běžné školy.
    * Za potenciálně problematické budou považováni pouze uprchlíci bez dokladů, bez znalosti rámcového fungování právního a vzdělávacího systému Ukrajiny, bez dosaženého středního vzdělání, negramotní a uprchlíci u kterých zjistíme záznam v rejstříku trestů, či (vzhledem k nedostatku dalších informací) pocházejí z oblasti s vysokou mírou kriminality a nezaměstnanosti a nízkou mírou vzdělání (toto rozdělování na základě oblasti původu je také diskriminační, ale u některých uprchlíků bohužel bude nejlepší dostupnou informací)

  3. Everyone being racist here should go fuck themselves. Literally people that might be escaping war and retarted Czechs will still find a way to be racist to Roma people.

    OOh and dont forget to bring up the good ol its not racist if its true argument, maybe learning how poverty leads to crime etc. might help you with your stupid ass logic

  4. ya’ll should really do what the UAE did a while back with beggars from pakistan and other nearby countries.
    Arrest and deport them back to their country of origin

  5. So sad that those people are in our country but we are not responsible for them and they should be deported. There is no war in Hungary and beggars can’t be choosers. Czechs have enough of gypsies that were born here and they were never the best of our citizens. Makes me feel sad that Europe will one day put up borders again because of these people that are coming mostly to use our system but hardly ever contribute in it. With raising prices we can’t afford to support crowds of illiterate, lazy foreigners. They must realize they have to take care of them self. For all the economical migrants……,, Start educating your kids and teach them that we humans have to work not just stick out our hand and beg or steal.

  6. I find it sad. But at the same time, sending your small daughter to beg for money is fucking despicable. And they won’t leave you alone.
