   I’ve been wondering when we would finally achieve peak lunacy, it’s kind of morbidly terrifying. Trump in a way is like Mao -and many other autocrats- in the sense that Mao didn’t mind at all if a conflict would destroy millions of Chinese lives as long as he saw a benefit out of whatever terrible idea he was concocting, because projecting power was always top priority.

9. Almost certainly a reaction to Russia’s new nuclear capable weapon and a stupid reaction at that. There is practically zero benefit to testing an actual nuclear weapon when the delivery system is the thing that matters.
