Left Freaks Out Over Trump’s Ballroom Project #shorts

All right, let’s bust this narrative, shall we? You see that building hidden all the way in the back there? That’s what you traditionally know as the White House. See this map right here? This is the White House. This is the building that they’re opening up for the ballroom. White House, future ballroom. He’s renovating an office building that was completely reconstructed about 80 years ago, which was only built after demolishing Edith Roosevelt’s colonial gardens, by the way. And he’s building an event space that the White House so desperately needs. Also, the Obama administration added an indoor basketball court and dug up the entire front lawn of the White House for 4 years, and it cost 400 million taxpayer dollars. And the media didn’t say a freaking word. Sounds like you’re building another wing to the White House. But, you know, at least it’s nice to see they’ve gotten real concerned with preserving historical structures built by old white men. Didn’t think we could do that anymore.

Leftists are having a MELTDOWN over Trump’s White House renovations. If it were anyone else, they’d be cheering.

  8. Obama DID NOT build an indoor basketball court. Obama had lines painted on the existing outdoor tennis court and put a hoop at either end so both sports could be played. This ignorant woman is blatantly lying to you!!! Remember when facts used to be facts because they were truths.

  26. The entire east wing is gone not just a side of it after trump promised the existing structure wouldn't be touched. Congressional and historical conservation approval was sought for previous renovations. Trumps White House fired all six members of the commission expected to review some of Trump's construction projects and appointed their own yes man. Unilaterally decided to start tearing down the peoples house without seeking permission from congress who have to approve projects to the white house prior to them being started. The outdoor tennis court was adapted to an outdoor basketball court under obama for under $100,000 the $400 million is a made up figure and it was reportedly privately funded. Republicans renamed the affordable care act obama care so republicans would vote against it. Please fact check this and anything you hear on social media before regurgitating it.

  35. Okay so Obama didn't build a basketball court. He adapted the tennis court so it can be both. Costing less than 20 thousand. He never lied about the project, did not demolish anything historical and when through proper approvals. He demonstrated that he knew it was the People's house not his. Also black men (freed and enslaved) and white men built the white house.

If anybody is interested the White House is 224 years old this year, now I don't know about you my house was built in the 90's that's the 1990s and I'm constantly having to replace roofing material drywall flooring cracked concrete sidewalks driveway approaches leaky gutters ect. So are we to assume that a building that is over 200 years old wouldn't need major Renovations and upkeep?
