Hey gang!
My partner and I are meant to be getting married next Saturday! We’re doing a bit of a last minute thing as my health is bad and we’re not sure what the future holds right now. Very small Oathing Stone ceremony, the celebrant and about 8 people including us. Problem is the venue has turned out to be a let down at the last minute and we now have no where to get married. We are desperate for it to be at a wild waterfall, It NEEDS to be in South Lanarkshire for our marriage license to be valid. Spectacle’e Falls and Falls of Clyde are not suitable.
Are there any smaller, less well known about waterfalls in South Lanarkshire that is on free ground? (Not Scottish Wildlife Trust etc)

Thank you so much!

  1. Calder Glen Country Park in East Kilbride has some easily accessible waterfalls. They’re not the biggest or bonniest though, but they are publicly accessible.
