  4. based, but bullshit. Some of the oldest big settlements in europe were found in modern day Romania, and, while not building with stone, most of bronze age europe lived in buildings (just made of wood and dirt instead of bricks).

  8. 500BC is nowhere near old. Carthage had already existed since 900BC, the entire middle-east was populous and had extensive stonemasonry, the Etruscans were a major civilization in central Italy, even fucking Britain – land of the animals – had built settlements by at least 600BC.

    ALL of europe was inhabited – it’s just that it’s a lot easier to build your house out of wood, when you actually have wood; easy in the forests of central europe, less easy in the semi-arid coastlines of asia minor. But people weren’t fucking living in caves, jfc.
