It’s indicative of just how off the rails the EU-Switzerland relationship has gotten, that this has to be stated. It honestly feels like Switzerland is seeking to enjoy all the benefits we have reached in the EU through pooling competences, expertise and resources, without giving to that pool itself.
Worryingly, it could be said to have partially succeeded.
Yeah fuck this. I hope the EU puts even more pressure on them. This cherry-picking has to end now. For way too long this has happened. Get in the EU or get a deal but don’t fuck around and demand special treatment.
