Bought a used laptop . Unable to figure out how to type @ in this keyboard( Not that IT smart). Laptop model is Hp 13.3 elitebook 835 G7 if that matters
Which keyboard layout to chose in windows.

  1. Did you install the operating system? When installing you’re usually asked what keyboard layout you want to use. The operating system does not know what is printed on the keyboard. You can also change the layout in the settings under the languages. Your keyboard is the Spanish one so if you want to be able to read the keys from the keyboard I would suggest using that layout. If you’re able to write blindly in a specific layout you can also change to that.
    Usually you can read which key is what. If a symbol is written over the main symbol of the keyboard, you can access it via the shift key. If it’s written on the right hand side, it’s usually alt gr (the right alt button) or ctrl+alt (usually both combinations work)

    this looks like Spanish ISO keyboard layout. @ should be AltGr + 2.

  3. You’ll find it easier to use if you rotate it 90° to the left.

  4. Spanish keyboard, I think @ is just Caps+2, or what others have said AltGr+2
