In other news, site usage from the Netherlands is up by an astonishing 643%!
They’ve just moved to other sites or used VPNs. If you google the word “porn” within seconds you will find an unblocked site.
Job done then, no need to look into this any further.
So 77% of people are now on totally unregulated porn sites. Big win for the politicians then. Twats
Meanwhile, newsagents are reporting a significant rise in top shelf procurement.
I hope they realise there are still a lot of sites you can have access to without needing to verify your age and without vpn. If it’s not pornhub then it will be one of them
Oh and of course plenty of sites can be used with vpn and what not.
Some politician: 77% of pornhub users were children, look how many we’ve saved!
im more interested in the 23% of people tying their porn watch to their drivers license. Will be very interesting in a few years. for instace if theres a big hack and u dont see any politicians. You could assume they are breaking th law or dont jerk off. Or perhaps u see in 4 years after a big hack the percentage of teachers into teen and bad stuff. Would u fire them or not. Big questions gonna be brought up in the future. Also the whos verifying cause its mostly non british companies. after theyre hacked will they come to court in the uk or say your laws dont apply to us were american
Does anyone still believe what mainstream media says 😂
I know I personally have completely stopped using porn sites since the age checks came in, there is just NO WAY around the checks, no vectors, paths, or nodules – no way around it. What a shame, no need to look into this anymore politicians – you guys did it, you’ve guided society in a better direction!
On an unrelated note, population of Australia has increased by 23 million
77% reduction in number of visitors with a UK domain is not the same as a 77% reduction in the number of eyes looking at the site. Has the number of site visits changed or just an artificial change to teh supposed country mix as their client base uses VPNs
‘This could be a consequence of people reducing their porn use’
Sure…
Since these porn checks came in, flag shagging and roundabout painting has significantly increase.
I think many here really overestimate the amount of people who use or even know what a VPN is. Probably a Reddit thing where there is a serious detachment from the real world.
Love the emphasis on vpns. Why would you need to use a vpn? If there is someone or something in particular you want to watch just use boolean operators in a search engine to get rid of sites that require verification. Even that is a bit extreme as there are a multitude of sites that do not require verification anyway. And the content on a lot of these sites are way more extreme than the traditional sites that are now seeing a 77 per cent drop.
Do we think they’re going to spin this as a win? Either those 77% were under 18 or have given up watching porn.
In reality we all know those people are using a VPN or have migrated to some other site that doesn’t comply and is therefore much shadier. Great success!
On another note if I was an executive at Pornhub I would be pissed, having complied and being fucked over for it by losing that traffic. What do they do now? Lobby the government for enforcement or drop their own compliance?
The Great British public have gone down on Pornhub. It’s ironic, but it’s out of our hands. I don’t get a rise out of making such statements.
meanwhile free VPN apps are rising on all mobile stores, and people are likely having their data taken by nefarious entities.
real friends don’t let friends use free VPNs.
Don’t even need to use a VPN, NextDNS implemented age check bypass for free as an option you can enable, plus you get the benefit of custom blocklists for ads and trackers that works system wide eg ads in free apps
I’ve seen the light . VPN providers must be the biggest labour donors .
Top of the morning to my fellow recent Irish converts.
I’d love to know if comms went out to MPs telling them not to upload their data. Surely it makes them a security risk and vulnerable? Same for police and prison service.
