It seemed like some moderate Republicans and Democrats were on the verge of a compromise, and Trump throws in the “end the filibuster!1!!” curveball. Has this derailed the possiblity of an off-ramp?
I’d like a refund on the taxes I paid this month please.
The poorest people in our country will start going without food and healthcare tomorrow.
That’s a sentence I never thought I’d have to type in my lifetime.
And it’s time to stop the blame game bullshit.
This lays at the feet of the GOP. They want to blame the other side for political points among their base instead of just doing their fucking job.
The funds are available for SNAP and they could negotiate the ACA subsidies over an evening if they’d stop acting like children.
Not about the shut down. But does anyone have recommendations for decent middle ground political news podcast? I want to hear all side but I’m also tired of the satirical commentary. Is there a podcast that gives a mix of different views?
