  1. This is macabre on a level I had not previously seen in other conflicts. Enough blood spilt on the ground that the stains could be seen *from space*? In less than 72 hours after the city was taken by the RSF? Mass executions and mass graves at the children’s hospital?

Cynically, I am aware this will get zero attention and not a single person marching in the streets in Western countries.

  2. So many bodies that it’s visible from space. What a grim world we live in.

  3. Meanwhile I see no trending posts/rallies about this genocide happening.

  4. That is incredibly horrific. At what point does the UN interfere? What’s the point of the UN?

  5. If the victims want some support from the UN, they should just claim “Israel did this.”

  6. Remind me how lucky we are living in developed countries. There are still lots of bloodshed and genocides going on in the world. We just don’t see them a lot in the news.

  7. This is horrifying. How is this the first that I am hearing of this? What can be done to stop it?

  8. I hve been hearing about the atrocities happening in Africa but never did I see people talking or spreading awareness about this.
It would’ve been trending if it was Israel that did it I guess. The same people who protested for Palestine ignoring this is a shame.

  9. It’s been more than two years since the Sudanese civil war & genocide reignited and I’m still not seeing campus protests about it. 🙄
