Delta has set resumption dates for Israel service from Boston and Atlanta. Thrice-weekly Atlanta-Tel Aviv flights will return on April 15, followed by daily Boston-Tel Aviv service on Oct. 24.
Those two routes, plus New York-Tel Aviv, were the Israel routes Delta flew prior to the beginning of the Israel-Hamas war in October 2023. Delta resumed New York JFK service on Sept. 1.
Delta is the latest U.S. carrier to announce new Tel Aviv plans since an uneasy ceasefire between Israel and Hamas began on Oct. 10. American said that it will resume daily New York-Tel Aviv flights on March 31. The route is the only one American was flying to Tel Aviv prior to the war and the airline hasn’t flown it since the conflict began.
United will resume flights from Chicago and Washington Dulles to Israel on Nov. 1 and Nov. 2. They’ll join United flights to Israel from Newark.
United has yet to announce a return of its one other pre-war Israel route, from San Francisco.
El Al served several U.S. destinations throughout the war.
