They are mainly sold in Warsaw because it's more of a Warsaw tradition, although I've heard that they are sometimes sold in other parts of Poland, so I encourage anyone visiting Warsaw from abroad for the first time who come pay tribute to their family to buy these delicious seal removers in the cementary

They’re the best, honestly 🫶🏻
delicious seal removers? so do you eat it, do you remove seal with it?! What seal?! Whats going on?!
Not being able to open your mouth for 5 min is super important part of the experience!
Nieironicznie, co to jest? xD
God’s foreskin
As someone born and raised in Warsaw, make sure you only buy the OG white and pink ones. Lately there has been an increase in flavoured pańska skórka (cola flavour, berry, lemon, etc) – these are all fakes.
Even if you only go for the white and pink ones, you might still run into fakes though. I only buy from people who only sell this one type. You’ll know it’s real if you can’t bite into it at first at all. Only after a minute or two of having it in your mouth will you be able to sink your teeth in it a little bit and that’s the “seal removing” stage – it’s tough, super sticky and sweet.
Now the white and pink fakes will be way too soft and comparatively easy to chew straight away.
Real ones also should be just sweet, with no real apparent flavour, aside from maybe a hint of egg-ish, vanilla-ish aroma – hard to describe, just give it a taste.
Is it something like a taffy? Didn’t grow up in Warsaw, never heard of that before!
id suggest staying away from the oblazanki… last year i bought them and they tasted like scented candles bc they were transfered in the same car/bag as the candles the person was selling most likly
are they vegetarian? I googled this and found that some sources say that theyre all vegetarian but also I saw another saying it contains gelatin🤔🤔🤔🤔
I came to Warsaw from Dolny Śląsk and honestly can’t stand it, need to spit it out when I tried it. It is something for true locals only.
This shit slaps.
And annihilates your teeth.
Man, this is a weird picture.
„Sweet child o’ mine”
Each region has some All Saints traditional food I think. In my moms region it was obwarzanek odpustowy na sznurku, in my dads walnuts, my wifes family brings chocolate covered hazelnuts.
Skurke xd haha.
Sam cukier. Wolę colę, przynajmniej jest gazowana i ma nieco kofeiny.
