When I studied in Mannheim, I had a ticket which allowed me to use regional trains for free (Semesterticket). One of them ran to Wissembourg. I used to go there almost every weekend, buy a fresh baguette and have a walk, look at the beautiful architecture and practice my mangled French. I’d love to visit again sometime!

Nice, I actually took a photo from the exact same place last summer
Alsace is primarily a cheap assed beer in the form of bottles so small you lose count and wonder whether you’re actually getting drunk or not.
Also it’s a beautiful city bordering differing cultures that have worked well together over the centuries..ish.
I want to go to the Alsace region in France so bad! The architecture looks absolutely stunning! As well as the history in the area! This one picture made me so travel sick…
Does this remind anyone else of the canal shot of the French Dispatch?
I live in Saarbrücken and have a free sunday… Thank you for a good tip 🙂
Hey, that’s where I live!
I don’t know how many people have taken a photo from that little bridge
