Holy shit that’s terrifying…
Wow. This is mindbogglingly horrific. This happens in the 1st world and it would be on the news nonstop.
No protests in universities for this genocide🤷
And most people don’t even know theres a civil war happening in Sudan right now.
It’s disgusting that there is little outcry for the genocide that’s being comitted against Christians in Africa.
The silence about what’s happening in Sudan is deafening. No one’s taking a moment of silence in their concerts or making an aside in their red carpet interviews or press tours to talk about the conflict there or in the DRC.
Mindless barbarity. Beyond disgusting
This needs more visibility because I’ve seen literally no one outside of Africa is talking about this!
Funny I haven’t seen a single highway blocked for what’s happening in Sudan
Incase anyone didn’t want to give the dailymail an extra click.
A maternity hospital massacre in Sudan has left 460 people dead just days after a 48-hour killing spree saw more than 2,000 civilians executed by paramilitary rebels.
The World Health Organisation said the Saudi Maternity Hospital in El Fasher, the city’s last remaining hospital, was on Sunday ‘attacked for the fourth time in a month, killing one nurse and injuring three other health workers’.
Two days later, ‘six health workers, four doctors, a nurse and a pharmacist, were abducted’ and ‘more than 460 patients and their companions were reportedly shot and killed in the hospital,’ by Rapid Support Forces (RSF) paramilitaries, the organisation said.
Footage purportedly capturing the aftermath of the hospital massacre showed bodies scattered across the floor among debris and broken equipment.
‘I was performing surgery in the hospital when heavy shelling occurred. A mortar hit the hospital. I was so worried because the woman’s wounds were open, and everyone was running around me,’ Dr Suhiba, a gynaecologist, told UNFPA, the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency.
The northeast African nation was plunged into a deadly conflict in mid-April 2023, when long-simmering tensions about the future of the country between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the head of the paramilitary rebel group erupted.
Following the most recent incident, allies of the army, the Joint Forces, said on Tuesday that the RSF ‘committed heinous crimes against innocent civilians, where more than 2,000 unarmed citizens were executed and killed on October 26 and 27, most of them women, children and the elderly’.
Well this is about the most horrific thing I could possibly think about. Human beings are the worst. The absolute worst.
These images are beyond fucked up. A true genocide before our eyes.
*This* is what genocide looks like, btw. Horrific.
Jfc…😰 wtf that is awful!
How does stuff like this continue happening in the world
What the actual fuck?!?
The word “genocide” had been thrown around and abused in the last few years so much so that a real genocide (especially another one) in Africa goes silent again. As usual.
Did we really learn jack shit after we didn’t do anything in Rwanda?
No one is talking about Sudan or Ethiopia. Just absolutely horrible things going on. Or that Haiti has become overrun by gangs and is now a failed state. I’m glad people are talking about Gaza but it’s just infuriating how little the press cares to publicize what else is going on.
Headlines like this really put it into perspective how lucky we are to live in developed countries. I’m sitting in my home, with everything I could ever ask for, all while being conditioned to think that it’s not enough. Meanwhile, other people are living like this. Absolutely heartbreaking and eye opening.
My god why would people do this to each other?
This is one of the worst pieces of news I’ve heard in a long ass time. My heart breaks for these people.
Jesus I had to read that title 4 times, what in the hell
Just let a meteor hit the planet.
this is so fucked up
The UN is supposed to stop these atrocities. Its a disgrace that the world cannot.come together and stop this barbarism. The UN has failed the world.
What kind of scum would attack and kill people at a hospital.
The people committing these acts have – through their own actions – revoked their right to exist amongst the other human beings on this planet.
i spent a bit on google maps checking this area out and…. parts i thought were mountains or whatever, zoom in and its camps. you can literally see how big these places are from space , and they are surrounded by genocidal lunatics, desert, heat, no clean water or food and noone coming to save them. They literally have nowhere safe to go.
Sad to see humans with that much hatred exist in this world.
Why isn’t this garnering the attention of the world?!
This is the first headline in a while to give me a panic attack…
I guess there is value in that — it means that my heart and mind have not been entirely desensitized to the madness spiralling around our planet right now.
UAE is funding majority of this….for Sudan’s gold.
When I was in college, I had a huge report for my English class — open topic. Mind you, this was about 18 years ago, I wanted the most extreme topic I can think of, so I’d put the extra effort in doing the research. I searched the internet and checked the UN webpages and “Darfur” kept being mentioned. I spend a lot of time on the report, and with each line it made me more and more depressed. The genocide/rape of poor black Africans based on religion and ethnic supremacy in one of the poorest places on earth — true hell. It fucked with me, bad. No one ever heard of it or cared at that time since the war on terror was the main news headline. Every so often I would hear news about the Sudan but I would mentally block it out due to the trauma of putting myself in their shoes when writing the report. Fast forward to today, I recently started seeing reports and heard “Darfur“ again — I broke down. I’ve been crying my eyes out for the past hour. Those people are in hell and no one gives a shit, again.
Edit: Spelling and grammar.
Maternity hospital? Fucking cowards, then again, monsters usually are.
