How else do you expect young people to save up for a down payment for an apartment in this economy

If they’re unmarried and don’t have kids, what should they be moving out for? I’m asking as a married 25 year old living on his own.
I don’t understand the premise of this article at all. If you’re single, you should live with your parents IMO. Save up that money for when you’ll actually need it
There’s a bias in this statistics since it’s specific to those unmarried, obviously not . It would be more interesting to see the proportion of all young adults.
