  1. What are these photos?

    Any context at all?

Or just like ‘gg bro, sweet meme, yes whoever is in that first photo are nazis too… Whoever they fucking are’ 😂

  2. Isn’t this when one of farages previous parties managed to get elected to European parliament

  3. This is very vague. And the blurriness in places is not helping. Is this the UKIP MEPs acting like wankers back in the pre Brexit days?

  4. mate who are you even talking about litterally no one seems to know whos backs you are posting 😀 why not just say?

  5. I would say it’s more like Labour turning its back on the British public when citizens are concerned regarding the slaughter of men women and children due to the massive influx of fighting aged men entering the country , just saying 😬😘.

  6. Reform can eat a bag of dicks, but posts and drama like this do more to help them because being a knob turns people against you and your message.

  7. Context **has** been provided. If you are a person with an understanding of UK politics in the last decade and a working memory it isn’t difficult. If you’re a moron or a child you might not get it.

There’s a lot of clueless politically illiterate people commenting here who like projecting themselves as political experts, showing themselves up by questioning an image of an event 6 years ago that was widely reported.

The image depicts Farage and his Brexit party doing what he did with his UKIP party annually, turning their backs on European Parliament, in a symbolic gesture harking back to 1930.

  8. For those who don’t know the pictures, the top picture is the Brexit party turning their back in the European Parliament in 2019 (I think).

The bottom picture is the Nazi party turning their back in parliament in 1926 when the national anthem was played.

The post seems to draw parallels between the ideologies of the two parties. I will leave it up to all of you to decide if you feel there are similarities.

  9. This would do numbers on Facebook groups full of bots but on Reddit people are much more likely to critique and point out glaring issues

  10. lOP was expecting a parade of support but is getting a barrage of ridicule lol

  11. You know the Nazis were also pretty keen on propaganda, which is what this is.

  12. I haven’t memorised the backs of politicians

    So who are these people

  13. Never forgive never forget didn’t farge face scam charges when he worked for the EU

  14. Kinda strange how theres more far right MEPs now in the EU

  15. When you fail to grasp how little of the time the Nazis existed that they resembled the true horrors they were capable of or responsible for, you will surely fail to see parallels in their decade before power of poisoning the nation through propaganda and lies, fail to see similarities in rhetoric and tone.

When you fail to understand that it didn’t begin with a one party militarisation of the state, that it didn’t begin with camps, or genocide, you will fail to understand that it began with words, and with division.

*“Propaganda is a truly terrible weapon in the hands of an expert”  wrote Hitler in 1924 when he was a somewhat marginal figure in German public life. But he was not marginal to the emerging Nazi Party where he served as its first director of propaganda. His insight was how to use its powerful messaging and new technologies to build a mass political and social movement in the context of German democracy.*

*Building on fear and resentment coupled with longstanding antisemitism, the Nazi Party deployed propaganda to offer a bold new vision for Germany. That propaganda helped to create a climate that emboldened the perpetrators, provided justifications for the collaborators, and helped silence the bystanders. All helping to make the genocide of the Jews possible.*

–Sara J. Bloomfield, Director, United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

*It was with words – and images – that the Nazis and their adherents articulated their extreme antisemitic hatred and fanned its flames. With words they determined all Jews to be their archenemies and blamed them for all of the ills of society as they perceived them to be. Undoubtedly, without such hateful words, the brutal and murderous actions would not have followed; furthermore, it was with words that they justified perpetrating the crime of the Holocaust.*

–Dr. Robert Rozett, Senior Historian, International Institute for Holocaust Research

*”English Fascism, when it arrives, is likely to be of a sedate and subtle kind (presumably, at any rate at first, it won’t be called Fascism),”*

*”It was easy to laugh at Fascism when we imagined that it was based on hysterical nationalism.”*

*”Fascism is now an international movement, which means not only that the Fascist nations can combine for purposes of loot, but that they are groping, perhaps only half consciously as yet, towards a world-system. For the vision of the totalitarian state there is being substituted the vision of the totalitarian world.”*

    — George Orwell, The Road to Wigan Pier

  16. My local reform candidate just got suspended for speaking to minors. These guys are nonces as well as Nazis

  17. Wow. So if you turn your back on people you are a nazi?! Who’d have thunk it.

Aren’t you a nazi if you arent a raving left wing weirdo?

I thought everyone is a nazi except those guys now.

Seems like everyone’s a nazi if theit opinion doesnt match yours.

Interesting dilution of the nazi labels.
