This is the third time I've witnessed it this week, but was the one that came closest to a crash.
I've done a lot of miles over the years, but the driving on the Ards peninsula is some of the worst I've ever seen. Speed limits and white lines don't seem to exist and I've witnessed more dodgy over takes in my two months here than I've seen in the last two years combined.

Temporary traffic lights are enforced the same as permanent traffic lights. You should send this onto the police as they will keep doing it until they cause an accident
Mate of mine done this in the middle of the night with no cars coming the other way. Because he got fed up waiting for them to change.
Cops behind him weren’t very appreciative and done him for running a red.
The Red Light in Bushmills isnt temporary its been there years ..
Lots of cars parked at it though.
It’s a green light, above the red.
Well the writing on the wall states “**Jesus Died For** ***Your*** **Sins!”** so a few more wont hurt ..
This amused me no end, wellplay’d lol
Breach of a traffic sign (temporary or not) £60 and 3 points endorsable fixed penalty, or up to £1000 and 6 months disqualification if it goes to court.
Is this the road between Portavogie and Ballyhalbert?
The amount of drivers using their phones/being wreckless, careless, speeding & impatient on the roads is unreal. Everyday you can see speeding cars, tractors, hgvs & buses around the peninsula flying through villages & towns. Selfish pricks.
Which dashcam u using?
Peninsula driving. Utter fucking lunatics.
Surely not an Audi driver
I’ve had that happen at temporary lights twice in the last 6 weeks. On both occasions, the car running the red light was behind me in the queue, while I was waiting for the light to change.
Traffic lights are traffic lights. Obey them to avoid accidents. Pretty straight forward like.
Lol I had a kinda funny incident (in my head anyway) a few weeks ago, I was stuck at temp lights at the front of the queue and was thinking how weird it is that we are programmed to obey even a wee temporary light, could see there was no oncoming traffic but still sat and waited like a good boy until it turned green. Then on the same journey I came across another one a few miles away with a big queue behind and it mustn’t have been cycling correctly at all because someone at the front must have just decided after being stuck for a while to say f-this I’m going for it and drove on, we all drove through. There wasn’t even anyone about at the construction entrance it was set up for so it was probably justified but was just weird how sometimes you think about something random and then literally encounter the situation on the same day.
Mount a camera on them
Throw them points and a fine
