Faulty taillight on car leads to drug, stolen gun bust and Florida man’s arrest

A pull-over for a faulty taillight led to a Florida man’s arrest.

On Tuesday, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) conducted a traffic stop near West Hillsborough Avenue and Sawyer Road.

Deputy body camera video shows the suspect, identified as Luis Serrano, being pulled over at a gas station and speaking with law enforcement. As HCSO deputies show Serrano, 53, where the bad light is, they notice a wad of cash being held in his hand.

“I work in the club,” the suspect can be heard saying.

  16. You might have a warrant?? After seeing a stack of cash that's not reasonable however since the drugs were found that will be overlooked which there's nothing wrong with that I suppose One less person dealing drugs

  25. Looks like a bullshit search and seizure. Sure they charged him too, even though the warrant was for arrest, not searching the vehicle. Hopefully he has a lawyer who recognizes this, and acts accordingly

    If he didn't have a warrant.
    Or if it wasn't registered to him.
    The search is a fail. He will be released.
    No probable cause.
    He can't detain u cause he thinks u have a warrant.
    He can arrest u cause he knows u have a warrant
