In the early hours of November 2, a drone attack was recorded along the Black Sea coast in Russia, causing damage to port infrastructure and starting a fire. The information was confirmed by the Krasnodar Krai Operational Headquarters and regional authorities.
According to the headquarters, drone debris damaged an apartment building in the Sosnovy settlement of the Tuapsinsky District, shattering the glass on the third floor.
In Tuapse, drone fragments struck a tanker and an oil-loading terminal; later that night a fire was reported and damage to the terminal facilities was noted by the operational headquarters.

Impact on Port Infrastructure and Terminals
According to Astra, a deep-water berthing complex of LLC “RN-Sea Terminal Tuapse,” used for loading petroleum products onto tankers, caught fire. As a result of strikes on various port facilities, damage was inflicted and part of the infrastructure was taken offline.
Responses from Authorities and Regional Agencies
The mayor of Sochi, Andriy Proshunin, stated that there is a drone and missile threat; in his words, the city has air defense.
A Rosaviatsiya representative, Artem Korenyako, reported restrictions on aircraft takeoffs and landings in Volgograd, Gelendzhik, Saratov, Krasnodar, Sochi, Penza, Samara, Kazan, Orenburg, and Ulyanovsk from the evening of November 1.
A representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, Andriy Yusov, previously noted that due to Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian oil refineries, the processing of petroleum products in Russia is decreasing, with estimates ranging from 18% to 20%.
