It's officially Christmas! The first of the official signs arrived today – the Christmas Guinness ad was on TV this afternoon while I was hoovering up Halloween Cheesy Puffs and other debris that got stamped in to the rug last night.

I don't remember it ever being on this early before! I'm just not ready for Christmas music yet.

  1. I was present while they were shooting this ad, there was a Levi’s store to the LHS of this image, me and 2 friends went for interviews one evening for some PT hours, on our way out we attempted to make snow balls and footprints with the fake snow and were abruptly told, “Get the fuck away from that snow!”, by whoever was shooting the ad, we still laugh about it every Christmas

  2. : It’s officially Christmas

Shut the frig up! If adverts tell you what time it is, good luck to you shem!

  3. My tree has been up since September. External house lights and all. 12 illuminated garden ornaments going up this week. It’s busting the fuck out of the electricity but so what … it’s a lovely time of the year. If it isn’t snowing then I’ll rip up a thousand cheap bog rolls and throw it all in the front garden.

    C’mon Santa, ye big bollox!

  4. By your logic its been Christmas since August, when Tesco started putting out the Advent calendars and selection boxes.

I’m actually ok with some elements of Christmas creeping in early as it can stave off the misery of the dark and cold autumn/winter period. But I’m talking about the lights, food and drink. Not tv ads.

  5. No, it’s still Halloween season. Dark nights, spooky stories. Christmas has it’s own ghost stories, but it can wait till December.

  6. Nope
Travel delays on the road and in the air
    .
Keep the snow to a mirror or a Xmas card

    Thanks

  7. 8 weeks and 5 days and the Easter eggs will be on the shelves
