Our health care system is so broken it’s insane. Stop letting them make you believe a better one is impossible.

1. 2 sides to our health care system. The insurance side and what it pays….. Buuuuttt also the unholy amounts health care providers charge. The article is vague but what I can gather is 64k for a broken ankle.

2. The bill could’ve been $640k. Since there’s no contract between that hospital and her insurance, they can charge whatever they want. The system we have is that you stay in-network for all but the ER. People either don’t know that or ignore it. That doesn’t mean I support the system.

3. This country is such a scam.
