Hi I’m new here and got myself a Deutschland ticket today since I’ll be traveling around in Germany for the next two weeks being in at least three different cities.
I am planning to go to Salzburg from München at one point and realized that my Deutschland ticket covers that train. Does that mean I can just hop of that train and show them my Deutschland ticket when the ticket inspector comes?
No need for additional reservations?
The photo is a screenshot of my DB app and I’m trying to get that ticket to Salzburg and I realized the “buy ticket” button is now disabled because I mentioned that I (the passenger) have a Deutschland ticket.
Thanks in advance!

Yes. RE is considered local transit and doesn’t have reservations like long distance trains.
Yes as long as you are using regional trains like this one then that’s all you need to do.

Yep, exactly! Just be aware that there are spots on trains that are reserved, and the Deutschland ticket is only good for the 2nd class seating areas.
Also be aware that some of the faster/longer-distance trains, such as the ICE trains, are not covered by the Deutschland ticket.
You can also use this ticket for any bus in any city. Just show the ticket when ticket-checked. You may also possibly need to show your ID as well, to prove you’re the rightful holder of the ticket.
Have the app open (screenshots are not accepted)
You just show the Aztec (“QR”) code of the D-Ticket to the inspector (if one shows up).
No need to buy a ticket. Also no need (and no possibility) to reserve a seat.
Make sure you cancel in time, you can, for example, cancel today and it will still run until the end of the month.
You cant reseseve seats in the regional trains. Just get in and Have a nice Trip.
