The packaging looks nice but some of the most plain soft biscuits I ever tried.
I saw some youtube where people taste things from aboad, let their friends taste them and compile the reactions. The comments about “Gaidelis” where typically: “Hmm. Tastes like nothing. Should go well with milk!” Which is in essence correct. I’ll add that these are specifically Lithuanian. These are post-soviet. Most parts of the Soviet Union had bland cookies like that. Blah. Very bland. Gaidelis getting rebranded. There are a lot of new different flavours and products. Candies, for example (didn’t like it) or crackers (not bad at all).

There are A LOT of other cookies I would choose to spend my Euros on instead of these. Sorry, every bite brings back bad memories of growing up under occupation. Same for plombyras in soggy waffles—no thanks. I am trying to forget those atrocious times, not remind myself of them.
