In the old house of my mom (in Bern region), there are still some of those sockets. I don’t know what they are for, but I guess it’s old electric sockets? There is one room that still has no modern electric sockets, only one of those sockets. How much would it cost, and how long/complicated would it be to transform it into a modern socket?

  2. This is an old telephone socket from before the ~1980ies, so the wires won’t be suitable/certified for 240v A/C. I think, it’s not worth the while to try to convert this.
