Hi! I know that this may be a bit off topic, but it may be a common problem in Finland .
We wear these slippers when going to sauna & swiming. They are practical & comfortable but start to fall apart quickly. They have a fabric upper which is glued to rubber soles. The glue gives up after a couple of months & the soles fall off.
Can anyone suggest a suitable adhesive? It's a shame to throw away good slippers.

Any contact cement. You can get some in small tubes from motonet etc.
Contact glue is usually good for flexible tihngs.
Contact cement can work, but I’d recommend liquid rubber for this particular fix. I’m using it on my shoes all the time and it’s more reliable than contact cement because it flows a bit so it really gets in the crevices and waterproofs it, too. It also doesn’t require predrying and pressing the two surfaces together. Just some tape to hold things in place.
contact cement and careful stitching
