Imagine that, better coverage leads to better viewership… instead of pretending the otherway around

The nation must really be bored to tears at this point.
Tis far more enjoyable and sportswoman like.
Premier League football ? Shit, I’d rather watch kids playing five a side.
This its a good thing. Personally however I find it odd that there is such a disparity in “mainstream sports” between the mens and womens competition. In the sport I take part in and watch (Olympic Weightlifting, Crossfit, climbing & distance running) all the sexes are on equal par when it comes to interest. If you watch the men’s you will watch the women’s and visa versa.
When it comes to football women seem to spend more time playing and less time rolling around.
Seeing coverage on free-to-air channels really helps. People want to watch it but are going to get Sky/BT sports for it, airing it on BBC and C4 has really helped people watch it, especially those who might otherwise not watch sports.
