To hear the engineer who has been unemployed for 2 years now makes me worried …

I’m international student in Finland, soon to graduate with MSc from Aalto. I’ve probably sent out 400-500 applications in the last two years, all tailored with CV/motivation letter, and some checked by career counsellors from the university. I managed to get 5-10 interviews, but wasn’t successful. The market seems tough and a good portion of my friends are unemployed (international and Finnish students, MSc in Finance/Business Analytics/Design/Econ/Management from Aalto)
I can’t get part time jobs because I don’t have previous experience on the field when applying for cashier and other entry level jobs.
no language barrier in tech but only for some of the top firms and US companies. Traditional Finnish tech companies can be reluctant to changes and prefer the old way of communicating in Finnish, also they don’t make as much money as the US counterparts, so they can’t employ more and the pay is mediocre to low.
