  1. Harrison noted that the president seems more focused on generating profit than safeguarding the planet’s future.

“It scares the s‐‐t out of me,” the star said. “The ignorance, the hubris, the lies, the perfidy. [Trump] knows better, but he’s an instrument of the status quo and he’s making money, hand over fist, while the world goes to hell in a handbasket.”

  2. Not just inaction, but regression and denial IMO…

You guys have withdrawn from the freaking Paris agreement and just agreed not to send top officials to COP30 this year…

  3. And climate change inaction, in fact, trying to shut down alternative energy works and going after coal and oil again is part of an extremely long list of criminality.

  4. >inaction over climate change

Bill Gates says it’s fine now.

One of you tell Han Solo.

    Thank you.

  5. “Snake oil salesmen. Why did it have to be snake oil salesmen?”

  6. Oh, he’s taken action. On the side of climate change.

  7. If we are confining ourselves to climate, Trump is at worst a moderately bad criminal. If there were some kind of Cosmic Climate Police, they’d use his obvious guilt to pressure him into snitching on the REAL villains, fossil fuel executives, in exchange for immunity.

  8. Of all the things he’s a criminal for, I wouldn’t even say this is one of them. He’s (hopefully) only around for 3 more years, the climate change issue was around before his tenure and will still be there afterwards.

  9. I mean his actions are criminal for a lot more than climate change.

  10. Sure, sure.

But only an idiot would praise Ford’s environmentalism.

  11. Second is George Bush, third is Barack Obama, fourth is Bill Clinton. Can you see a pattern emerging?
