  1. Saw headline “Come on just because hes Jewish doesn’t make ai slop antisemtic”
Saw picture “Holy shit, I take that back”

  2. Oh wow, yeah thats full mask of old school nazi propaganda

  3. God that’s pretty fucking bad ain’t it? Reform is so funny to me cos it’s one competent media-trained guy in Farage but every other aspect of the party is mental.

  4. How many masks need to slip off and clang to the floor for people to realise what we’re sleepwalking into?

  5. Jews are devious tricksters trying to hypnotise the population is ago old antisemitic trope.

I hope this reinforces the point that regardless of the current support for Israel, hard right parties are no friends to the Jewish population. The old prejudices are always there and they will come to the forefront again.

  6. >“And on Reform UK Brighton & Hove’s Facebook, this antisemitic attack on Zack Polanski was followed yesterday by a further racist graphic declaring New York Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani to be a terrorist.”

Ah, there it is. They are absolutely TERRIFIED of these young, charismatic up and comers and the only thing they have against them is “they are part of BAD GROUP.”

  7. Here’s some advice for the right wing, far-right, alt-right. Whatever they want to call themselves.

If you want to stop people calling you Nazis, or comparing you to the Nazis.

    Stop. Doing. Nazi. Stuff.

  8. Just in case you needed evidence to confirm that reform don’t give a shit about “the rise of antisemitism” and use it as an islamophobic dog whistle.

  9. He was a hypnotherapist, that’s what the picture is referencing.

    Not ‘the demonic jew’ etc.

Those trying to jump on this bandwagon to take a shot at Reform but chanting from the river to the sea lmao

  10. It’s all Reform have, isn’t it!

Farages flop speech today was cringe worthy!

  11. it gives me great satisfaction to realise that reform are absolutely not going to be able to handle an election against a jewish candidate as their main opposition. an anti-zionist one at that. it is going to break them. they’re not going to be able to stop their crazies from saying crazy anti semitic things. they’re going to spend the whole election cycle mopping up the anti semitism pouring forth like bile from their barely vetted candidates

  12. Can’t wait for all the people who condemned pro-palestine protestors as anti-semetic to condemn this blatant anti-semetic caricature right?

  13. For anything new else wondering why they can’t see the image in the article, I had to turn adblock off to see it.

  14. Remember when Carole Malone went off on him for not knowing what a nazi is, after he criticised Reform for being OK to share a platform with parties that have a history of neo-nazi members in prominent positions?

  15. That is absolutely shocking. But what shocks me more is how absolutely fucking quiet the rest of the media have been about it. This is absolutely not acceptable in any form.

  16. Remember when labour were called antisemitic in the media for 2 straight months.

Wonder if this will be all of her the media with the same amount of coverage

  17. Well get used to it because we’re sleepwalking into a reform government.

  18. My question with this is always: if you don’t know that the target is Jewish, is there anything dubious about the image?

I’m really not convinced here. This feels more like all the accusations that got fired at Corbyn’s Labour. It’s a mean spirited political propaganda poster, but there’s nothing particularly relating to ethnicity in there. They even gave him a Palestine lapel pin. Reform would like to place themselves on the Jewish/Israeli (and the conflation is theirs, not mine!) side of that event.

There’s some exaggerated features which you could take out of context as the “hook-nosed Jew” trope, but … it’s a Halloween allusion, witches and ghouls are drawn like that too.

Saying something mean about someone isn’t antisemitic just because that person is Jewish.

And as for “Nazi propaganda”, that style of image is shared by Soviet and Allied propaganda posters from that era as well as Germany. I don’t buy that at all.

  19. I’m sure the BBC are working on a Panorama special about Reforms anti semitism and racism as we speak!

Hearing their head of political journalism on Radio 4 the other week constantly saying Reform are held to constant scrutiny over and over for 10 mins made my blood boil.

  20. Is there any surprise? The US ~~nazi~~ Republican Party tied it by a) doing a Nazi salute on stage, b) chanting “hail victory” (sieg heil) on stage and they (at worst) got away with it; so the UK ~~nazi~~ Reform Party are blowing the same dog whistle
